The Country Dei Laghi is located in Anguillara Sabazia. The Hotel has been obtained out of an ancient Country house in the “campagna romana”, and it's located in a property which covers more than 150 hectares. It is surrounded by ancient post stations placed along the French Route, which was used by travelers of the Grand Tour since the 19th century.

It is surrounded by ancient post stations placed along the French Route, which was used by travelers of the Grand Tour since the 19th century. The scenery is that of the Tuscia, also called High Latium or Southern Etruria. It is a land rich of History, Archaeology, Architecture, Nature, besides of being a transit passage for all those who were directed towards Rome. The property “County dei Laghi", which is biologically certified, is extended between both the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano and is surrounded by the homonymous Regional National Park.
Country Relais Dei Laghi offers 31 forms of air-conditioned accommodation with minibars and a safe. Flat-screen televisions come with digital channels. Bathrooms include baths or showers, bathrobes, slippers and bidets.

It is possible to organize immersions to archaeological sites in the waters of both the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano, and also in the sea in front of the S.Severa Castle. The extremely reduced degree of difficulty allows this practice also for those who don’t own a Scuba license. The activity is attended and coordinated by enabled instructors who furnish technical assistance and equipment.
Breeding animals in the Roman Tuscia, hence in the Biological Property of the hotel belongs to a tradition which survives since the Neolithic era. In fact, the prehistoric lake village of the Marmotta, which is about 1 km far from the property, dates back approximately 8500 years ago, when the human being evolved from a nomad into a permanent form of society, discovering agriculture and breeding.
About four hundred animals (horses, cows of the Maremma, goats of Malta and Sicily and sheeps) are feeded on the possession. The horses are destined both to the training and riding in the Horse-riding club, while the other animals refurnish, with their meat and cheese, the restaurant.
